Rabbi Shmuli Friedman came in to
Wiggins Placeto talk about the importance of olive oil during Chanukah. He showed us how to crush the whole olive and extract the juice. He then proceeded to put it into a centrifuge to separate the juice into pulp and oil. The tenants made their own wicks out of cotton and the tenants were able to take some of the olive oil pressed in class home with them!

It was a very interesting class that the tenants really enjoyed and they want Rabbi Friedman to return to make Matzo at Passover time.
